Adding chia seeds in oatmeal is a total game changer! Now you might be thinking why should I add chia seeds in oatmeal?

Ingredients in this recipe
This chia seed oatmeal recipe only requires 3 simple ingredients. Yup, just 3 main ingredients! You’ll need additional topping ingredients depending on your preference.
Oatmeal, use quick oats! If you use whole traditional oats you will have to cook them longer. Quick oats, whole oats or gluten free oats will all work in this recipe.
Chia seeds, of course! You can find chia seeds at your local grocery store or you can buy them on amazon. Chia seeds are a great addition to these oats.
Milk, almond milk or any milk of choice. Definitely use some sort of milk in this oatmeal. Using milk creates a creamy texture and taste. You can use water but it will not make creamy or flavorful oats.
Topping ideas; banana, blueberries, nuts, peanut butter, dates, and dried mulberries. Toppings area must when it comes to oatmeal. Keep reading for more topping ideas down below!

Toppings for oatmeal
Ok hear me out, toppings can make or break an oatmeal bowl. You need toppings. I repeat you need toppings on your oatmeal! Here are some delicious topping ideas.
Sliced banana. Banana on oatmeal is always a good choice. Add some freshly sliced chopped or diced banana.
Blueberries. Fresh or frozen blueberries can be added on top of these oats (Call me weird but I prefer frozen wild blueberries rather than fresh blueberries)
Natural peanut butter. Creamy or chunky peanut butter will work! Make sure to use an all natural peanut butter as it has no funky ingredients. This kind is all natural and has no added chemicals or sugars. You can likely find it at your local grocery store.
Dried mulberries. Ok so, some people hate these or love these! The dried mulberries add a sweet crunch!
Nuts. Walnuts, almonds, and cashews will all add a nice crunch.
Chopped dates. Another one of my favorite toppings as they add an all natural sweetness!
