Why you should this donut hole recipe
Growing up my sister and I were always baking. One time we tried making Boston creme donuts and they were absolutely delicious. I remember eating them with our Nanu (what we use to call my grandma) and she couldn’t believe we made them from scratch.
That was definitely the starting point to my donut obsession. Don’t get me wrong, those donuts we made were loaded with butter and sugar but, donuts are meant for indulging right?
Fast forward 15 years, I knew I wanted to make a healthier, but still delicious donut hole recipe. And these donuts are exactly that! They are soft, fluffy and cute! And they are so easy to make – just mix and bake! I hope you love them as much as I do.
How to store these hole donuts
Once the donut holes have fully cooled, store them in an airtight container!
I like storing my baked goods in the fridge on the freezer inside an air tight container.
Store them in the freezer for up to 3 months and you can defrost them at room temperature for 30 minutes or simply defrost them in the microwave.
You can also store the donut holes in the fridge for up to a week.
