Ingredients needed for healthy banana chocolate muffins
You will need a few easy ingredients to make these muffins.
- Oat flour: Finely ground oat flour makes perfectly chewy and fluffy baked goods. And it only has one ingredient: ground oats. This is my all time favorite oat flour from amazon.
- Cocoa powder: Using cocoa powder gives these muffins a rich chocolate flavor.
- Baking powder: Baking powder helps puff up these muffins.
- Salt: You will need a pinch or two of salt, 1/4 tsp
- Eggs: You will need two eggs for these muffins. They help bind all the ingredients together.
- Mashed banana: Mashed ripe bananas are a must. They add moisture and flavor to these muffins.
- Avocado oil: Avocado oil is used as the oil/fat in this recipe. You will need 1/4 cup. Or you can use refined coconut oil as it is neutral in taste and smell.
- Maple syrup: Maple syrup is used as the sweetener which is a great all natural option! I love buying my pure maple syrup from amazon as well.
- Vanilla extract: You will need 1 tsp of vanilla extract. It helps deepen the flavor of these muffins.
- Chocolate chips: Lastly, you will need 1/2 cup of your favorite chocolate chips. I love these by enjoy life!
