Ingredients in peanut butter energy balls
Below are the six ingredients we are working with!
- Quick oats are just another form of oatmeal. They go through further processing to be cut down in size. This makes them smaller and easier to cook! They work best in this recipe because they blend nicely with the peanut butter.
- Natural creamy peanut butter is a must! Make sure to give your peanut butter a good stir as natural nut butter can be very oily.
- Flax seed meal is a great addition because it adds so much nutrition and you don’t even taste it.
- Pure maple syrup to sweeten things up. Pure maple syrup is a great all natural, non processed sweetener. Feel free to use honey instead!
- Mini chocolate chips to top things off! Mini chocolate chips blend very easily. Feel free to use regular chocolate chips but please note it may be a little more difficult to roll the mixture into a ball.
- Vanilla extract to enhance all the flavors. We will be adding just a splash! Feel free to omit if you don’t have any on hand.
