<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">Chocolate baked oats are very simple to make. They require a few ingredients that you likely already have on hand! These baked oats are a great way to get in your whole grains but also a sweet treat. The best of both worlds right? </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">Now if you&#8217;re on TikTok, you may have already seen TikTok baked oats trending. There are many variations of baked oats out there however, I find keeping the ingredients simple and wholesome creates the best results. These oats use a combination of oats, cocoa powder and peanut butter to create the best tasting and textured baked goods. Keep reading to find out the ingredients in this recipe!</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Ingredients in chocolate baked oats</h2>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">Here are the ingredients we are working with. You will need the 9 simple ingredients below. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Oats</strong>. In this recipe you can use quick oats or whole oats. Since we will be blending them it doesn&#8217;t matter which kind you use!</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Banana</strong>. Make sure you use an overripe browned banana if possible. Over ripe brown bananas add an all natural sweetness. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Eggs</strong>. Using eggs helps to bind all the ingredients together and create nicely textured oats. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Milk. </strong>Adding a bit of milk helps add moisture into these oats. No one wants dry oats! Lol.</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Maple syrup.</strong> To sweeten things up we will add a splash of maple syrup. The maple syrup also helps cut the bitterness from the cocoa powder. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Cocoa powder</strong>. For extra rich Chocolate flavor we will be using cocoa powder. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Peanut butter. </strong>Make sure you use natural creamy peanut butter. Other peanut butters tend to have added chemicals and preservatives. Make sure you give your natural creamy peanut butter a good stir as natural nut butters tend to be very oily. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Baking powder. </strong>A bit of baking powder helps these oats rise!</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Chocolate chips</strong>. Lastly, chocolate chips add extra gooey chocolate flavor. </p>

<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">Chocolate baked oatmeal is very easy to whip up. They just require a few simple steps which I have outlined below. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>STEP 1</strong></p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">Firstly, preheat your oven to 350 degrees and grease two 4 inch ramekins.</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>STEP 2</strong></p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">Add all the ingredients into a high speed blender except the chocolate chips. Pulse until smooth and combined. Scrape down the sides of the blender as necessary.</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>STEP 3</strong></p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">Pour the mixture into two greased ramekins and top with chocolate chips.</p>
