This blueberry smoothie is a classic and easy smoothie since it only requires 4 ingredients. All you need is bananas, blueberries, milk and nut butter. What&#8217;s great about smoothies is that they are so versatile. You&#8217;re not limited to these 4 ingredients, you can really throw in any ingredients you like!</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">Not only are smoothies a great breakfast, they are also great to whip up after a walk or workout. Since you can add a scoop of protein powder into the mix, it&#8217;s a great way to refuel your body.</p>

<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">You only need 4 ingredients to make this smoothie! Here are the ingredients we are working with.</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Frozen banana</strong>. The base of this smoothie is frozen banana. Bananas give this smoothie a creamy texture and a slight banana flavor. Not only do they add flavor and texture but they also add many nutrients. Bananas are loaded with potassium, vitamin B6, and vitamin C.  </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Frozen blueberries</strong> are a must. Use regular frozen blueberries or frozen wild blueberries. Blueberries are also high in nutrients. To name a few, they include fiber, antioxidants, minerals and vitamin K. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Peanut butter</strong> <em>or powdered peanut butter</em>. Peanut butter adds creaminess, texture and healthy fats. Make sure to use natural creamy peanut butter as it doesn&#8217;t have any added funky ingredients.</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Milk</strong> adds protein and calcium. However, feel free to use any milk of choice! You can use regular cows milk or a milk alternative. </p>

<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Grab a high speed blender</strong> and <strong>gather your ingredients. </strong></p>

<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Add all the ingredients into the blender.</strong></p>

<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Use your favorite milk or milk alternative.</strong> To make this smoothie creamy you&#8217;ll want to use milk, almond milk, oat milk, or any dairy free milk of choice. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Freeze fruit ahead of time.</strong> Anytime you have bananas turning brown, slice them up and put them in a freezer friendly container or bag. That way you also have frozen bananas on hand. </p>
