<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Ingredients in cinnamon roll oatmeal bake</h2>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>DRY INGREDIENTS</strong></p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Oats</strong> are the main event. For this recipe we will be using 3 cups of rolled oats. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">A sprinkle (or two) of <strong>cinnamon</strong> to get the cinnamon roll flavor. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Baking powder</strong> helps to puff up this oatmeal bake.</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>WET INGREDIENTS</strong></p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Milk</strong> adds texture and moisture. Milk helps to soak and cook the oats while they bake in the oven. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Heavy cream OR half and half</strong> adds a hint of creaminess along with the milk. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Creamy almond butter</strong> also adds creaminess and flavor. It also helps to bring the ingredients together. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Coconut sugar</strong> adds sweetness and flavor. Coconut sugar is a great all natural sweetener that creates the cinnamon roll flavor. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Eggs</strong> help to bind all the ingredient together. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">A splash of <strong>vanilla extract</strong> to enhance all the flavors. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>ICING (optional)</strong></p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">Combining <strong>powdered sugar</strong>, <strong>milk</strong>, and <strong>cinnamon</strong> will create a nice (and light) icing to top this baked oatmeal. This step is optional but definitely recommended! </p>

<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>STEP 1</strong></p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Preheat your oven to 350 degrees</strong> and grease an 8&#215;8 or 9&#215;9 pan and line it with parchment paper. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>STEP 2</strong></p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Combine the dry ingredients.</strong> In a large bowl, add the oats, cinnamon and baking powder. Mix and set aside. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>STEP 3</strong></p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Combine the wet ingredients.</strong> In a medium bowl, whisk together the milk, half and half, almond butter, coconut sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>STEP 4</strong></p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Combine the wet and dry ingredients. </strong>Add the wet whisked ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Mix to combine and pour the mixture into your prepared pan. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>STEP 5</strong></p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Bake!</strong> Bake the oatmeal for 30-35 minutes (timing will depend on what size pan you use).</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>STEP 6</strong></p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Make the frosting.</strong> While the oatmeal bakes, prepare the frosting in a small bowl by combining all the ingredients together. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>STEP 7</strong></p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Enjoy! </strong>Remove the baked oats from the oven, top with icing, and enjoy!</p>
