<p class="has-large-font-size">To whip up this recipe, you&#8217;ll need the below seven ingredients. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size"><strong>Quick oats</strong> are the main ingredient. Feel free to use quick oats, whole oats, or gluten free oats! We will be using 1/2 cup.</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size"><strong>Cocoa powder</strong> adds the deep and rich chocolate flavor. We will be adding 1 tablespoon.</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size"><strong>Chia seeds</strong> add so many nutrients. They also create a nice gel-like texture in combination with the oats.</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size"><strong>Peanuts</strong> add extra crunch and pair perfectly with the creamy peanut butter! You can omit the peanuts if you use crunchy peanut butter. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size"><strong>Maple syrup</strong> adds a hint of sweetness and cuts the bitterness from the cocoa powder. I recommend using all natural maple syrup as it doesn’t have any added ingredients or preservatives.</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size">Natural creamy <strong>peanut butter</strong> or chunky peanut butter will work! Make sure you use natural creamy peanut butter as other peanut butters tend to have added sugar and chemicals. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size">Lastly, <strong>milk</strong> helps the oats soften and soak the oats overnight. For this recipe you can use cows milk, almond milk, oat milk, or any dairy free milk of choice.</p>

<p class="has-large-font-size"><strong>Milk</strong>. This recipe calls for almond milk but feel free to use any milk of your choice. Cows milk, oat milk or any dairy free milk of your choice will work in this recipe. </p>

<p class="has-large-font-size">Overnight oats are made by soaking oats overnight in liquid. It is an easy, non-cook method of making oatmeal! They are served cold, straight from the fridge!</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size">I wanted to share a little back story on why I made this overnight oats recipe! Over the holiday, I saw my brother put oats, water and chopped apple in a plastic container and set it in the fridge overnight. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size">He told me he liked eating them in the morning before working out. But I was like come on, just oats water and a chopped apple?? No thank you! Where&#8217;s the flavor?</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size">I wanted to keep this recipe easy, simple and quick but also flavorful and healthy. This recipe is just that. With 7 simple ingredients you can make these apple cinnamon overnight oats. Bye bye watered down oats, hello delicious and creamy apple oats!</p>
