<p class="has-large-font-size">This is one of my go-to meatball recipes for when I am craving a protein packed meal with twist. These greek meatballs are loaded with spices and feta cheese and are a fun twist on traditional meatballs. </p>

<ul class="has-large-font-size wp-block-list"><li><strong>Ground chicken</strong></li><li><strong>Egg</strong></li><li><strong>Feta cheese</strong></li><li><strong>Dried spices: </strong><em>oregano, basil, onion powder, garlic powder, dill, parsley, salt and pepper. </em></li><li><strong>Orzo pasta</strong></li><li><strong>Lemons</strong></li><li><strong>Olive oil or butter</strong></li><li><strong>Parmesan cheese, </strong>optional</li></ul>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="cooking-items-needed-for-this-meatball-recipe">Cooking items needed for this meatball recipe</h2>



<p class="has-large-font-size">For this recipe you need two large bowls and one large pan or skillet, along with a few items below. </p>



<ul class="has-large-font-size wp-block-list"><li><strong>2 large mixing bowls:</strong>&nbsp;You’ll use the mixing bowls to mix together the ingredients for the meatballs and orzo.</li><li><strong>1 large pan or skillet:</strong>&nbsp;Once you form your meatballs, you’ll use a pan to cook them.</li><li><strong>Tongs:</strong>&nbsp;While the meatballs are cooking, you’ll use tongs to flip them so they brown on all sides.</li><li><strong>Plate or bowl for serving:</strong>&nbsp;Lastly, you’ll want to use a plate or bowl to serve the meatballs and orzo. </li></ul>



<p class="has-large-font-size">In addition, you’ll also need your basic measuring ingredients like measuring cups and measuring spoons. You’ll need: <strong>1 cup, 1/2 cup</strong>,&nbsp;<strong>1/4 cup</strong>,&nbsp;<strong>1 tablespoon</strong>, <strong>1 teaspoon</strong>,&nbsp;<strong>1/2 teaspoon</strong> and <strong>1/4 teaspoon</strong>.</p>

<p class="has-large-font-size">There are many reasons why you&#8217;ll love this recipe! </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size"><strong>First, they are so easy to make</strong>. They are made with dry spices that you probably already have on hand! Since they are made with simple ingredients, you can whip up this whole meal in under 30 minutes.</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size"><strong>Secondly, they are packed with protein. </strong>These meatballs make a great high protein lunch or dinner. There are 20 grams of protein in three meatballs. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size"><strong>Thirdly, they are loaded with flavor.</strong> The combination of dried spices and feta gives these meatballs an ultimate flavor that pairs perfectly with the lemon orzo. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size"><strong>Lastly, they make excellent leftovers</strong>. Do you like meal prepping lunch or dinner for the week ahead? Definitely make these meatballs because they reheat really well in the microwave.  </p>

<p class="has-large-font-size">Keep your left over meatballs stored in the fridge in an airtight container for 2-4 days. Then simply reheat them in the microwave. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size">I like cutting up the meatballs and microwaving them for a minute or two. Enjoy!</p>
