<p style="font-size:16px">Who doesn&#8217;t love a fluffy and moist chocolate chip muffin that tastes like dessert but is made with wholesome ingredients?? </p>



<p style="font-size:16px">The key to these healthy, yet delicious whole wheat chocolate chip muffins are the ingredients, duh! Using enough fats and liquid like almond milk, greek yogurt, light olive oil and an egg, will make the muffins fluffy and moist. Using whole wheat flour and only 1/2 cup of sugar keeps these muffins on the healthier side. </p>



<p style="font-size:16px">I always love having healthy snacks on hand! And this healthy muffin recipe makes the perfect grab-and-go snack and the perfect snack for packing in lunchboxes. I typically keep my freezer stocked with at least one type of muffin! <p style="font-size:16px">I used ingredients that you probably already have on hand. These whole wheat chocolate chip muffins are made delicious with a few healthier ingredients. </p>



<ul class="wp-block-list" style="font-size:16px"><li><strong>White whole wheat flour</strong> has become one of my favorite baking flours. It is a true whole grain flour that is lighter in color and milder in flavor which makes it perfect for baking.</li></ul>



<ul class="wp-block-list" style="font-size:16px"><li>Adding <strong>baking soda</strong> puffs up these muffins.</li></ul>



<ul class="wp-block-list" style="font-size:16px"><li>Just a pinch of <strong>salt</strong> helps enhance all the flavors and ingredients in these healthy muffins.</li></ul>



<ul class="wp-block-list" style="font-size:16px"><li>One <strong>egg</strong> helps to bind all the ingredients together. </li></ul>



<ul class="wp-block-list" style="font-size:16px"><li><strong>Almond milk</strong> adds moisture to these muffins. Feel free to use regular cows milk or oat milk if you prefer. </li></ul>



<ul class="wp-block-list" style="font-size:16px"><li><strong>Greek yogurt</strong> helps keep these muffins moist. Plain greek yogurt works best!</li></ul>



<ul class="wp-block-list" style="font-size:16px"><li><strong>Coconut sugar</strong> adds an all natural natural sweetness. </li></ul>



<ul class="wp-block-list" style="font-size:16px"><li><strong>Light</strong> <strong>olive oil</strong> adds moisture and texture to these muffins. </li></ul>



<ul class="wp-block-list" style="font-size:16px"><li><strong>Vanilla</strong> extract is always a must in baking. It enhances all the flavors!</li></ul>



<ul class="wp-block-list" style="font-size:16px"><li>Lastly, <strong>chocolate chips</strong>! Add anywhere from 1/2-1 cup of chocolate chips.</li></ul>

<p style="font-size:16px">Another added bonus to this healthy muffin recipe is the <strong>greek yogurt</strong>. Greek yogurt is low in calorie, adds protein, but also helps keep these muffins moist. </p>



<p style="font-size:16px">Additionally, <strong>coconut sugar</strong> sweetens these muffins! This recipe uses just 1/2 cup of sugar. Coconut sugar is a great all natural, plant based sweetener. <p style="font-size:16px">Once the muffins have fully cooled, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.</p>



<p style="font-size:16px">Additionally, they can be stored in the freezer! Store the muffins in a freezer friendly container for up to 3 months. To defrost, simply let the muffins thaw at room temperature. Or defrost them in the microwave.</p>

<p style="font-size:16px">These greek yogurt chocolate chip muffins are definitely versatile! So feel free to use the substitutions below. </p>



<ul class="wp-block-list" style="font-size:16px"><li>Substitute <strong>white sugar</strong> or <strong>brown sugar</strong> for the coconut sugar. </li></ul>



<ul class="wp-block-list" style="font-size:16px"><li>Use <strong>white flour</strong> instead of white whole wheat flour.</li></ul>



<ul class="wp-block-list" style="font-size:16px"><li>Instead of greek yogurt you can use <strong>sour cream.</strong></li></ul>



<ul class="wp-block-list" style="font-size:16px"><li>Lastly, you can omit the chocolate chips and <strong>add any mix ins</strong> you prefer! For example: nuts, raisins, or white chocolate. </li></ul>

<p class="has-normal-font-size">These homemade oat flour muffins are so easy to make! Here is a quick overview on how to make these muffins.</p>



<p class="has-normal-font-size"><strong>Firstly,</strong> <strong>preheat your oven.</strong> Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and grease a muffin tin with cookie spray.</p>



<p class="has-normal-font-size"><strong>Secondly,</strong> <strong>combine the dry ingredients.</strong> In a medium bowl add the oat flour, almond flour, baking soda and baking powder.</p>



<p class="has-normal-font-size"><strong>Next, whisk the wet ingredients.</strong> In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, almond milk, butter, coconut sugar, vanilla, orange juice, orange zest. </p>



<p class="has-normal-font-size"><strong>Now combine together.</strong> Pour the dry flour mixture into the wet ingredients and fold until fully combined. Now fold in the cranberries and white chocolate. </p>



<p class="has-normal-font-size"><strong>Lastly, bake for 23-25 minutes.</strong> Bake the muffins until fully cooked through.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="how-to-make-these-oat-flour-muffins">How to make these oat flour muffins</h2>



<p style="font-size:16px">These oat flour muffins are super easy to make! I have outlined the steps below.</p>



<p style="font-size:16px">Firstly, <strong>preheat your oven to 350 degrees</strong> and <strong>grease your muffin pan</strong> with cooking spray.</p>



<p style="font-size:16px">Secondly, <strong>add your dry ingredients to a medium bowl</strong>: <em>oat flour, almond flour, baking soda and baking powder. </em></p>



<p style="font-size:16px">Thirdly, <strong>whisk together all the wet ingredients: </strong><em>eggs, almond milk, coconut oil, coconut sugar, maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, and vanilla. </em></p>



<p style="font-size:16px">Now <strong>fold in the dry flour mixture into the wet ingredients</strong>. The batter will be runny and thats ok!</p>



<p style="font-size:16px"><strong>Scoop the batter into your muffin pan</strong> and <strong>top each muffin with chocolate chips.</strong></p>



<p style="font-size:16px"><strong>Bake muffins for 23-25 minutes. </strong></p>



<p style="font-size:16px">Finally, let the muffins cool slightly and<strong> enjoy!</strong></p>

<p style="font-size:16px">Once the muffins have fully cooled, store them in an air tight container on the counter for 3 days or in the fridge for 7 days.</p>



<p style="font-size:16px">Additionally, you can store the muffins in the freezer for up to 3 months. </p>



<p style="font-size:16px">I personally love storing my muffins in the freezer! They last much longer and can easily be defrosted in the microwave.</p>
