I don&#8217;t think there is really an in between when it comes to this flavor. Ya either love it or ya hate it (I am definitely a lover LOL). What&#8217;s good about being a mint chocolate chip lover is that you know you don&#8217;t have to share with anyone, well there is less people you have to share with haha. So you get to enjoy it all to yourself (most of the time). </p>

<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">Here are the ingredients we are working with:</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">Make sure to use <strong>frozen banana</strong>! You can use frozen bananas straight from your freezer in your smoothie. This will create smooth, chilled and creamy results. Bananas also add many vitamins and nutrients like potassium and fiber. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Frozen spinach</strong> adds nutrients, vitamins and makes this smoothie have a fun green color. Using frozen spinach ensures your smoothie is cold and chilled. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Chocolate protein powder</strong> adds protein of course! Adding protein to smoothies makes them more wholesome and filling due to the added protein, vitamins and minerals. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">To get the perfect minty flavor we will be adding a splash of <strong>peppermint extract</strong>. It&#8217;s very strong so you&#8217;ll only need 1/8 teaspoon. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">For a slight peanut butter flavor add one tablespoon of <strong>powdered peanut butter.</strong> You can also use regular creamy peanut butter. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Flaxseed meal</strong> is a great source of many essential nutrients and vitamins like fiber and omega 3 fatty acids. Also you don&#8217;t even taste it in this recipe but you get all the benefits. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Milk</strong> (or any liquid) is essential when making a smoothie. It helps bring all the ingredients together into a smooth and drinkable mixture. For this recipe you can use cows milk, almond milk, oat milk or any dairy free milk of your choice. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Chocolate chips</strong> are optional but highly recommended! They top off the mint chocolate chip smoothie. </p>

<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Grab your high speed blender</strong> and <strong>your ingredients. </strong></p>

<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Add all the ingredients besides the chocolate chips into the blender</strong>. </p>

<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Blend and pulse until the smoothie is blended and creamy.</strong> This will take different amounts of time depending on the type of blender you have. Just blend everything until it is nice and smooth. </p>

Anytime you have extra bananas on hand simply slice them up and put them in the freezer! </li></ul>



<ul class="has-large-font-size wp-block-list"><li>Just like the banana, make sure to<strong> use frozen spinach</strong>! This will ensure your smoothie is cooled and chilled (you can still use regular fresh spinach but the smoothie won&#8217;t come out chilled). </li></ul>



<ul class="has-large-font-size wp-block-list"><li><strong>You can use any milk you prefer</strong>! Feel free to use cows milk, almond milk, cashew milk or oat milk.</li></ul>

<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">Yes you can. However, this smoothie won&#8217;t have any mint flavor. It will just be chocolate (which is still delicious!!).</p>
