<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Ingredients in orange banana smoothie</h2>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">Oranges are blended with bananas (and a few other ingredients) to make a super refreshing and delicious smoothie. Here are the six ingredients we are working with. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Frozen banana</strong> helps create the base of this smoothie. Also, adding frozen banana creates a super creamy texture, which is what we want!</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">Another staple in this recipe, <strong>frozen naval oranges</strong>. I recommend buying, peeling, and freezing your own oranges. You can do same with extra bananas! Pro tip: keeping frozen fruit on hand makes it super easy to make smoothies. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">For extra creaminess we will add <strong>vanilla greek yogurt</strong>. Greek yogurt enhances the creaminess factor.</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Orange juice</strong> adds liquid and flavor. Using a natural orange juice enhances the orange flavor and pairs nicely with the frozen oranges. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Milk</strong> adds protein and creaminess. For this recipe you can use any milk you like; cows milk, dairy free milk, oat milk, or almond milk.</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">Just a splash of <strong>vanilla extract</strong>! The vanilla extract also pairs nicely with the vanilla greek yogurt to create a slight vanilla flavor. </p>

<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">You need six ingredients and a few minutes to make this orange smoothie. Here are the steps outlined below. </p>

<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Grab your high speed blender</strong> and <strong>your ingredients</strong>: <em>banana, oranges, greek yogurt, orange juice, milk and vanilla extract. </em></p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>STEP 2</strong></p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Add all the ingredients into your blender</strong>. </p>

<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Pulse ingredients in the blender until the smoothie is blended and creamy.</strong> This will take varying amounts of time depending on the type of blender you have. You want to make sure no chunks of fruit remain. If the smoothie is too thick, add an additional ¼ cup orange juice OR milk.</p>

<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Freeze your fruit ahead of time</strong>. Freezing your fruit ahead of ahead time is key! This will ensure your fruit is fully frozen create cold, chilled smoothies. And you&#8217;ll always have it on hand when you need it.</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Use a natural orange juice</strong>. Natural orange juice without added sugars or sweeteners is key. U</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Blend until smooth.</strong> Make sure to blend the smoothie until creamy and no chunks of fruit remain. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Add it to a bowl. </strong>Instead of enjoying this out of a glass, make a smoothie bowl!
