<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">With just 6 simple ingredients you can whip up this peanut butter oatmeal. Let&#8217;s take a minute to break down all the ingredients. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Oats</strong> are the main event. We will be using 1/2 cup.</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">Use <strong>almond milk</strong>, or any milk of choice. Cows milk, almond milk or oat milk will all work. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">Natural creamy <strong>peanut butter</strong> works best in this recipe. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Salted peanuts </strong>add the best crunch!</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">A teaspoon of <strong>chia seeds</strong> add many nutrients and add a gel-like texture.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">How to make overnight oats</h2>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">One of the great things about these peanut butter oats is that they can be made in 5 minutes. The hard part is letting them chill in the fridge (patience people!). These oats need to chill for at least 4-6 hours or overnight (hence their name lol). </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>STEP 1</strong></p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">Firstly, <strong>grab a mason jar</strong> <strong>with a lid or a small storage container.</strong> Either option works well!</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>STEP 2</strong></p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">Secondly, <strong>add all the ingredients in the jar</strong>. Mix until all the ingredients together until they are combined really well.</p>

<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Milk.</strong> To get creamy overnight oats you&#8217;ll want to use milk. Please don&#8217;t use water! Cows milk, almond milk, oat milk, or any diary free milk of choice will work nicely in this recipe.</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Peanut butter.</strong> You can use creamy or crunchy peanut butter. Make sure you use an all natural kind as processed nut butters have added chemicals and sugars. Give your natural peanut butter a good stir as it may have a layer of oil on top. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Salted peanuts</strong>. Feel free to omit the peanuts for another type of nut or seed. Cashews and almonds also work well in this recipe.</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Maple syrup</strong>. Pure maple syrup works best in this recipe but you can also use honey! Or omit the natural sweeteners all together. </p>

<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>More peanut butter</strong>. If you&#8217;re a peanut butter lover, top these oats with an extra tablespoon of peanut butter. Extra peanut butter is always a good idea. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Fresh fruit. </strong>Fresh fruit is always a good idea when it comes to oatmeal. Feel free to top these oats with freshly sliced bananas, blueberries, strawberries or raspberries. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Peanut butter oatmeal ingredients </h2>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">Here are the six ingredients we are working with:</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Milk</strong> to soak the oats overnight. You can also use almond milk or another dairy free milk of your choice. We will be use 2/3 cup. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Powdered peanut butter</strong>, or you can use regular creamy peanut butter. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Maple syrup </strong>is a great all natural sweetener. We will be using 1 teaspoon. You can add up to 1 tablespoon for more sweetness. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">A splash of <strong>vanilla extract </strong>to enhance all the flavors and give a little hint of vanilla. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Oats</strong>, of course! For this recipe we will be using 1/2 cup of oats. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">Lastly, <strong>chia seeds</strong>. Chia seeds are a great addition to overnight oats because they add nutritional benefit as well as texture. </p>

<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Add the wet ingredients:</strong> In a mason jar, add the milk, powdered peanut butter, maple syrup and vanilla extract. Whisk vigorously until smooth and combined. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>STEP 2</strong></p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Add the dry ingredients: </strong>Now add in the oats and chia seeds. Mix until evenly combined. </p>

<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Store overnight:</strong> Add a lid and place the oats in the fridge overnight. </p>

<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Peanuts</strong>. A great addition to peanut butter oats are peanuts! For added crunch and texture add a tablespoon (or two!) of peanuts on top of your oatmeal. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Milk</strong> or <strong>almond milk</strong>. While this recipe calls for 2/3 cup of milk for super creamy oats, you can also use almond milk or another milk of your choice. Just please note using different types of milk can change with the flavor profile and creaminess of these oats. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Oats</strong> or <strong>quick oats</strong>. This recipe calls for 1/2 cup of oats. Feel free to use regular rolled oats or quick oats. Both options will work! </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Drizzle of peanut butter.</strong> For extra peanut butter flavor, add a drizzle of creamy or chunky peanut butter on top of your oats (trust me you won&#8217;t regret it)!</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Chocolate chips</strong>. Chocolate and peanut butter? YUM! Add 1 tablespoon of chocolate chips into your oats for delicious flavor and chocolate goodness.
