<p class="has-normal-font-size">Chocolate peanut butter is going to be your next favorite pie recipe!</p>



<p class="has-normal-font-size">The base of this pie is made up of a <strong>chocolate crust layer</strong>, which is made from a mixture of almond flour and cocoa powder! </p>



<p class="has-normal-font-size">The middle layer is the <strong>caramel layer</strong>. The caramel is made from a mixture of dates and peanut butter. </p>



<p class="has-normal-font-size">And lastly, the top of this pie is the <strong>peanut butter layer</strong>. This layer is made from a mixture of peanut butter and coconut cream.</p>

It holds together nicely with the cocoa powder, coconut oil and maple syrup!</p>

If you don&#8217;t like coconut flavor try using refined coconut oil as it doesn&#8217;t have any coconut flavor. The coconut oil in this recipe helps hold the crust together.</p>



<p class="has-normal-font-size"><strong><a href="https://www.amazon.com/Butternut-Mountain-Farm-Vermont-Natural/dp/B002483SRI/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&amp;keywords=maple+syrup&amp;qid=1628278582&amp;s=grocery&amp;sr=1-4">Maple syrups</a></strong> adds the perfect natural sweetness to the chocolate crust.</p>



<p class="has-normal-font-size"><strong>Dates </strong>add the perfect sweetness and texture to the caramel layer.</p>



<p class="has-normal-font-size"><strong>Peanut butter</strong>: For this recipe use smooth peanut butter, not crunchy! If you use a natural peanut butter make sure you mix it really well. Natural peanut butter tends to be very oily so it can alter the texture of this pie if it&#8217;s not mixed properly.</p>

Feel free to leave this out if you don&#8217;t have vanilla on hand.</p>



<p class="has-normal-font-size">Using <strong>canned coconut cream </strong>keeps this pie dairy free. It also adds a creamy texture!</p>



<p class="has-normal-font-size"><strong>Chocolate chips for topping</strong>: Optional but definitely recommended!</p>

<ul class="has-normal-font-size wp-block-list"><li><strong>Add whip cream!</strong> Add some homemade or store bough whip cream.</li></ul>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="how-to-store-the-caramel-chocolate-peanut-butter-pie">How to store the Caramel Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie</h2>



<p class="has-normal-font-size">After chilling the pie in the freezer for 2 hours to set, you can continue to leave it in the freezer until you&#8217;re ready to consume! </p>



<p class="has-normal-font-size">Let the pie soften at room temperature for a few minutes before enjoying. </p>



<p class="has-normal-font-size">Feel free to store this pie in the freezer for up to 3 months or store it in the fridge for up to a week.</p>
