And the addition of flaxseed meal, chia seeds, and chocolate chips give these oats the best texture and nutritional profile. <p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">To start things off, <strong>oats</strong> are the main ingredient. For this recipe we will be using 1/2 cup.</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph">In order for the oats to soak overnight, we will be using <strong>milk</strong>. Feel free to use any milk you prefer; cows milk, almond milk, oat milk, etc.</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Cocoa powder</strong> adds a rich chocolate flavor and will help make the chocolate base. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Flax seed meal</strong> is a great addition to this recipe. Make sure you use flax seed meal and not flaxseeds. What&#8217;s great about flaxseed meal is that you don&#8217;t even taste it but you get all the added benefits. </p>
