Cake Batter Overnight Oats (Creamy, Delicious)

Cake batter overnight oats make a wholesome yet slightly sweet breakfast. These oats are definitely a fun twist on traditional oatmeal recipes but, definitely give them a try and switch up your breakfast game. With simple ingredients, a couple of steps, and a bit of waiting time, you can have yourself a delicious make ahead breakfast.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup oats
  • cup milk
  • 1 tbsp cashew butter
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed meal
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • tsp almond extract use a scant 1/8 tsp, almond extract has a very strong flavor!
  • 1 tsp sprinkles mix sprinkles in in the morning so they don't loose their coloring

Instructions

  • Grab a mason jar or small container with a lid. I use both!
  • Add all the ingredients in the jar or container except for the sprinkles. Mix until all the ingredients are combined.
  • Now put on the lid and store in the fridge overnight.
  • In the morning, add the sprinkles on top and enjoy!
