Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 6 large slices toast sourdough, whole grain, white, or gluten free toast
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1-2 tbsp butter
  • bunny cookie cutter You can buy one here
  • toppings: cheese, bacon, onions, pepper, hot sauce, scallions, ketchup, butter

Instructions

  • Firmly press the bunny cookie cutter into the piece of bread to make the bunny shape. Carefully remove the center piece of bread. Repeat 6 times.
  • Preheat skillet or pan over medium heat on the stove.
  • Spread a little bit of butter on the bread if you choose and add the bread onto the pan. Crack an egg into the cut out "nest" area on each piece of toast.
  • Cook for 4-5 minutes or until the egg is cooked to your liking.
  • Top the easter toast with salt, pepper and any toppings of your choice.

Notes

*Use large slices of bread to ensure the cookie cutter fits on the toast. Large slices of sourdough or whole grain toast work best!
