Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups white whole wheat flour
  • ¼ cup flaxseed meal
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ¼ cup mashed banana about 2-3 bananas
  • ½ cup coconut sugar
  • cup oil light olive oil, canola oil, or coconut oil
  • cup plain greek yogurt
  • ½ cup chocolate chips + more for sprinkling

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 5x9 or 5x10 loaf pan with cooking spray and line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  • In a large bowl add the eggs, mashed banana, coconut sugar, oil, and greek yogurt. Whisk until fully combined and smooth.
  • Then fold in the dry flour ingredients: flour, flaxseed meal, cinnamon, and baking soda. Mix until combined. Mix in chocolate chips.
  • Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan and sprinkle the top with chocolate chips if desired.
  • Bake at 350 for about 35-45 minutes. Let the banana bread cool for about 10 minutes before removing it from the pan. Slice and enjoy!
