Cinnamon Sugar Donut Holes

Baked cinnamon sugar donut holes made from oat flour! These donut holes are seriously so easy to make. They are the perfect breakfast treat to make for yourself or for a crowd.

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups fine oat flour or 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • ½ cup coconut sugar or white sugar
  • ½ cup maple syrup or brown sugar
  • ¼ cup butter OR coconut oil melted
  • 1 tsp lemon juice OR apple cider vinegar

  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • butter OR coconut oil for brushing

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Grease two mini muffin pans with cooking spray.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the oat flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Mix and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, whisk the egg, almond milk, coconut sugar, maple syrup and coconut oil. Whisk until fully combined. Then, fold in the dry flour ingredients just until combined.
  • Using a spoon, spoon the batter into the mini muffin pans. It should fill between 40-45 mini muffins. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
  • Let the donut holes cool for 15 minutes before removing them from the pan. Add the coconut sugar and cinnamon to a bowl and toss in the cooled donut holes until coated. You can also brush the donut holes with butter or coconut oil before tossing them in the cinnamon sugar. Enjoy!
