Frequently asked questions
Are these cookies gluten free?
Yes, make sure you use certified gluten free oats to ensure these cookies are gluten free! Almond flour is also naturally gluten free.
Can I sub other flours?
I do not recommend subbing in other flours. These cookies are made from a base of almond flour. Having finely ground almond flour is key in these cookies! If it is too grainy it will mess with the integrity of these cookies. I love this almond flour from Amazon.
What kind of peanut butter can I use?
I recommend using natural creamy peanut butter. Make sure you give your peanut butter a good stir as natural nut butters can be very oily.
Can I freeze these cookies?
Yes! Simply let the cookies cool at room temperature and then store them in a freezer friendly container. To enjoy the cookies at a later date, simply let them thaw at room temperature or defrost them in the microwave.
Do I need to chill the dough before baking?
No. These cookies can go straight into the oven!
