<h2 class="wp-block-heading" id="why-you-should-this-donut-hole-recipe">Why you should this donut hole recipe</h2>



<p style="font-size:16px">Growing up my sister and I were always baking. One time we tried making Boston creme donuts and they were absolutely delicious. I remember eating them with our Nanu (what we use to call my grandma) and she couldn&#8217;t believe we made them from scratch. </p>



<p style="font-size:16px">That was definitely the starting point to my donut obsession. Don&#8217;t get me wrong, those donuts we made were loaded with butter and sugar but, donuts are meant for indulging right? </p>



<p style="font-size:16px">Fast forward 15 years, I knew I wanted to make a healthier, but still delicious donut hole recipe. And these donuts are exactly that! They are soft, fluffy and cute! And they are so easy to make &#8211; just mix and bake! I hope you love them as much as I do.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="how-to-store-these-hole-donuts">How to store these hole donuts</h3>



<p style="font-size:16px">Once the donut holes have fully cooled, store them in an airtight container! </p>



<p style="font-size:16px">I like storing my baked goods in the fridge on the freezer inside an air tight container. </p>



<p style="font-size:16px">Store them in the freezer for up to 3 months and you can defrost them at room temperature for 30 minutes or simply defrost them in the microwave.</p>



<p style="font-size:16px"> You can also store the donut holes in the fridge for up to a week. </p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="easy-ingredient-substitutes-for-donut-holes">Easy ingredient substitutes for donut holes</h3>



<ul class="wp-block-list" style="font-size:16px"><li>First, if you aren&#8217;t a fan of <strong>oat flour </strong>you can sub the oat flour for <strong>2 cups of all purpose flour</strong>!</li></ul>



<ul class="wp-block-list" style="font-size:16px"><li>Secondly, if you don&#8217;t want to use <strong>coconut sugar</strong> you can use r<strong>egular white cane sugar</strong></li></ul>



<ul class="wp-block-list" style="font-size:16px"><li>Thirdly, you can use <strong>regular milk</strong>, <strong>or any diary free milk of choice to replace almond milk</strong></li></ul>



<ul class="wp-block-list" style="font-size:16px"><li>Finally, you can sub the <strong>melted coconut oil</strong> for <strong>butter or vegan butter</strong></li></ul>
