<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Ingredients Used to Make Buffalo Blue Cheese Meatballs</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Below are the ingredients needed to whip up these meatballs.</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list"><li><strong>Ground turkey: </strong>I love using 93/7 lean turkey. You will need 1 1/3 pounds</li><li><strong>Egg</strong>: Add in one egg to help bind everything together. </li><li><strong>Blue cheese</strong>: Mix in 1/2 cup of blue cheese crumbles. Feel free to add in 1/4-1/3 for less cheesiness. </li><li><strong><a href="https://www.amazon.com/Blue-Diamond-Almond-Gluten-Blanched/dp/B07L9Q45HG/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&amp;keywords=almond+flour&amp;qid=1627944253&amp;sr=8-5">Almond flour</a></strong>: Almond flour helps hold all the ingredients together. This is my <a href="https://www.amazon.com/Blue-Diamond-Almond-Gluten-Blanched/dp/B07L9Q45HG/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&amp;keywords=almond+flour&amp;qid=1627944253&amp;sr=8-5">favorite kind</a> from amazon!</li><li><strong>Hot sauc</strong>e: You will use 2-3 tbsp of hot sauce, plus more for serving. Feel free to use your favorite hot sauce, I love franks!</li><li><strong>Dried parsle</strong>y, <strong>Garlic powder</strong>, <strong>Onion powde</strong>r, <strong>and</strong> <strong>Salt</strong>: These dry spices make the best flavor profile.  </li><li><strong>Lastly, celery and carrots for serving</strong>: Celery and carrots are my favorite veggies to eat with these meatballs. </li></ul>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Ground Meat Used</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">My favorite meat to use for meatballs is ground turkey. I always buy 93/7 lean blend as it makes the best tender meatballs. But feel free to use beef, pork, or any combination you prefer.  </p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Please note that using different blends of meat can result in different textures. If you use a leaner meat, the meatballs can become a little tougher and vice versa with a fattier meat. </p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">How to Make the Best Buffalo Blue Cheese Meatballs</h2>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Firstly, </strong>grab a large bowl. Add all the ingredients: <em>ground</em> <em>turkey, egg, blue cheese, almond flour, hot sauce and spices. </em></p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Secondly, </strong>use your hands and mix all the ingredients together (be careful to not over mix, just gently mix everything together).</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"><strong>Thirdly</strong>, take about a tablespoon or two of the mixture and roll it into a ball. Repeat this process until you have 15 meatballs. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">How to serve these Meatballs</h2>



<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>Serve the meatballs on their own with a side of carrots, celery and extra hot sauce.</li></ul>



<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>You can enjoy them over white sticky rice or pasta.</li></ul>



<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>Or personally my favorite way to enjoy them is over a kale salad, with chopped up celery and carrots and a  sprinkle of extra blue cheese on top!</li></ul>
