Baking with almond flour and other gluten free flours can be a little tricky! The combination of gluten free flours creates the best consistency. Almond flour is a great gluten free and paleo flour substitute. </p>

<p class="has-large-font-size">For the liquid ingredients you&#8217;ll need <strong>almond milk</strong> or your milk of choice! Almond milk, cashew milk, soy milk, or cows milk are all great options. </p>

It creates a neutral, yet flavorful base to create the perfect waffle. I prefer it this way so you can get creative with the toppings!  </p>

<p class="has-large-font-size">Follow these easy steps below to whip up this fun breakfast waffle.</p>



<p class="has-large-font-size"><strong>Firstly, plug in your waffle maker and let it heat up while you make your batter. </strong></p>



<p class="has-large-font-size"><strong>Secondly, combine all the dry ingredients in a small bowl:</strong> almond flour, tapioca flour, and baking powder. Mix and set aside. </p>



<p class="has-large-font-size"><strong>Then, in a medium bowl add your wet ingredients: </strong>egg, almond milk, apple sauce, coconut sugar, and vanilla. Whisk until full combined. </p>
