Almond Flour Waffle Recipe
This almond flour waffle recipe makes the perfect breakfast or mid morning snack. It is made from almond flour and tapioca flour making it gluten free and paleo friendly. This waffle is slightly sweetened with coconut sugar and is the best served with all the toppings (aka maple syrup and fresh berries)!

- ¾ cup almond flour
- ⅓ cup tapioca flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 egg
- ⅓ cup almond milk
- 2 tbsp apple sauce, refined coconut oil OR butter melted and cooled
- 2 tbsp coconut sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- maple syrup for serving
Turn on your waffle maker to your preferred setting.
In a small bowl, combine the almond flour, tapioca flour and baking powder. Mix until combined.
In a medium bowl, whisk the egg, milk, applesauce (or coconut oil), coconut sugar, and vanilla until fully combined.
Add the dry flour mixture into the wet ingredients and mix until combined.
Pour the batter into your preheated waffle maker. Cook to your liking. Top with fresh berries, bananas, maple syrup and nut butter. Enjoy!
