- ⅓ cup milk
- ⅓ cup sugar white sugar or coconut sugar
- ¼ cup light oil or melted butter if your using melted butter make sure the other wet ingredients are room temperature so the butter doesn't solidify
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 ¼ cup oat flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
Chocolate glaze
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp milk
Preheat your oven to 425 degrees. Grease your 6 tin donut pan really well.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients: egg, milk, sugar, oil and vanilla. Whisk until smooth and combined.
Now fold in the oat flour, baking powder and salt. Mix until combined and smooth.
Add the batter into the 6 donut molds.
Bake donuts at 425 degrees for 5 min, then reduce the heat to 350 degrees and bake for another 6 minutes.
Let the donuts cool in the pan. This step is key! Make sure you let the donuts cool for about 10-15 minutes before removing them from the pan so they don't break.
While the donuts are cooling, make the icing in a small bowl. Combine all the icing ingredients together until smooth.
Dip the top of each cooled donut in the chocolate glaze, add some sprinkles on top and enjoy!
