Baked Oatmeal Bars (Easy, Healthy, Oat flour)
Baked oatmeal bars are made from a mixture of oats and oat flour! These bars are thick, chewy, and chocolatey... need I say more? You can bake these ahead of time and store them in the fridge of freezer for a yummy and healthy treat.

- 2 cups oats old fashioned
- 1 ¼ cup oat flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 egg
- 1 ⅓ cup almond milk
- ⅓ cup applesauce
- ¼ cup honey
- ¼ cup nut butter of choice cashew butter, peanut butter, almond butter, etc
- ½ cup chocolate chips
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper or grease it with cooking spray.
In a medium bowl, mix the oats, oat flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt. Mix until combined and set aside.
In a large bowl whisk together the egg, almond milk, applesauce, honey and nut butter until well combined.
Then fold in the dry flour mixture into the wet ingredients just until combined. Then fold in the chocolate chips.
Bake at 350 for 25-28 minutes. Let the bars cool and enjoy!
