Healthier Paleo Applesauce Brownies (Gluten Free)
Applesauce brownies are lightened up and made from a mixture of almond flour, cocoa powder, coconut flour and applesauce of course! They are the perfect guiltless chocolate treat to whip up. Since they are made with almond flour they are naturally gluten free and paleo friendly.

- 1 cup almond flour
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- 2 tbsp coconut flour
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup applesauce
- ½ cup coconut sugar
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- ¼ cup chocolate chips
- flaked sea salt optional
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and grease an 8x8 pan with cooking spray and line it with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, add the almond flour cocoa powder, coconut flour and baking soda. Mix and set aside.
In a large bowl, whisk the eggs, applesauce, coconut sugar, and maple syrup. Whisk until fully combined.
Now, pour the dry flour mixture into the wet ingredients and fold just until combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 20-25 minutes. Let the brownies cool before slicing. Enjoy!
