M&M Cookie Recipe (Chocolate, Healthier, Easy)

This M&M cookie recipe is made with white whole wheat flour and you won't even notice a difference! They are loaded with chocolate flavor, made with wholesome ingredients, and make the perfect dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ cups white whole wheat flour
  • cup cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 egg room temperature
  • ¾ cup refined coconut oil OR butter melted and slightly cooled
  • ½ cup coconut sugar or white sugar
  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ¾ cup M&Ms or chocolate chips

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, add the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together egg, coconut oil OR butter, coconut sugar, maple syrup and vanilla. Whisk until smooth.
  • Now fold in the dry flour ingredients into the wet mixture. Fold in the M&M candies.
  • Cover the bowl in plastic wrap and set the dough in the freezer for 20 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to 350. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • Remove the dough from the freezer and scoop 24 cookies onto the baking sheets. Press a few extra M&Ms into each cookie if you'd like!
  • Bake at 350 for 12 minutes. Let them cool and enjoy!
